Summer Holiday Blues

Every year, around this time, we have a bit of a lull at work. We know why - the last few weeks have been a relentless round of show rehearsals, end of term exams and tired and fractious pupils who just want to go and play in the sun.
So, the minute the studio door closes on the last day of term, all of those exhausted principals and teachers just want to lay in a dark room and forget about class until September when it all begins again. And, who can blame them, really?!

Except, when they get back to class in September, they suddenly realise that they haven't done anything about those dance festival or recital costumes that they need for the first week in October and those well laid plans to update the uniform have been forgotten. If only they had contacted us earlier at www.spotlightcostumes.co.uk/contact, we could have been quietly putting everything in place for them while they enjoyed some well earned rest.

For a large part of the summer holidays, our machines will have been idle, just waiting for the teachers to emerge from their hiding places - rested, rejuvenated and raring to go. 

The problem we have now is, how to fit them all in?!!

But, you know what they say? Where there's a will, there's a way!
